Recipe of Sukiya Style Beef Dry Instant Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of Vit’s Noodles Economy Pack
  • 2½ tbsp Korean spicy sauce
  • 1 pack beef shabu-shabu slices
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp roasted sesame sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Shallots, chopped
  • Coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chili oil
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Salad leaves and cherry tomatoes (for garnish)
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook 2 packs of Vit’s noodles until perfectly tender, then drain well and set aside.
  2. Heat a pan and sauté 2 cloves of minced garlic until fragrant, add the Korean spicy sauce, then toss in the cooked noodles and mix until evenly coated before setting aside.
  3. Marinate the beef shabu slices with oyster sauce, white pepper, sesame oil, and diced yellow onion, allow it to rest for about 20 minutes, then cook the beef in butter until tender and season lightly with salt to taste.
  4. In a bowl, combine roasted sesame sauce with the remaining minced garlic, chopped shallots, coriander leaves, and chili oil, then mix well until smooth and aromatic.
  5. Arrange the cooked noodles on a serving plate and top with the tender beef shabu, then drizzle a portion of the sesame sauce over the noodles.
  6. Serve the remaining sesame sauce in a separate bowl to enjoy as a dipping sauce alongside the noodles.
  7. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds over the noodles and adding salad leaves and cherry tomatoes on the side for a fresh and colourful garnish.
