Recipe of Easy Cheesy Murtabak Recipe with Bolognese Noodles

This Easy Cheesy Murtabak brings a creative twist to the classic street food favourite. Crispy paratha wraps around a rich and savoury filling made with minced beef and Vit’s Italian Bolognese Instant Noodles, finished with a generous layer of melted mozzarella cheese. The result is a golden, crispy Murtabak with a flavourful, cheesy centre that is hearty, satisfying and perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Vit’s Italian Bolognese Instant Noodles, boiled and drained
  • 150 to 200g minced beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • Bolognese seasoning powder from the noodle pack
  • Salt and seasoning powder, to taste
  • 1 piece instant paratha
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Chilli sauce for serving

Method

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté the chopped garlic and red onion until fragrant.
  2. Add the minced beef and cook together with the sautéed ingredients. Stir-fry until the beef is fully cooked, slightly dried and changes colour.
  3. Add vegetable oil along with the Bolognese seasoning powder from the instant noodle pack. Season lightly with salt and seasoning powder to taste.
  4. Add the pre-boiled Vit’s Italian Bolognese Instant Noodles into the pan. Mix well and cook until the ingredients are evenly combined.
  5. Place one piece of instant paratha on a flat surface and add the prepared filling in the centre. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the filling.
  6. Fold the paratha neatly to fully enclose the filling.
  7. Pan-fry in hot oil until the paratha turns golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  8. Serve hot with chilli sauce on the side for dipping.
