Recipe of Vit’s Italian Mi Goreng Aglio Olio

Traditionally prepared in Italy, Aglio Olio is thought to have originated in the Naples region of the country's south. It is essentially spaghetti with garlic and olive oil, and it is sometimes referred to as a cheaper alternative to pasta with mussels. Choosing a instant noodle, garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes are the only things needed to produce Vit’s Italian Mi Goreng Aglio Olio

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 pack of Vits Mi Goreng Aglio Olio
  • Parsley
  • Mussel
  • Shrimp
  • Chili flakes

Method

  1. Heat the water:
  2. Put a large pot of water on to boil
  3. Sauté the mussel and shrimp:
  4. While the water is coming to a boil, heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the mussel and shrimp and cook slowly until well cook.
  5. Add the seasoning, premium olive oil (provided in the packaging) and cook another minute, then turn off the heat and put in a large bowl.
  6. Cook the instant noodle:
  7. Once the water has reached a rolling boil, add the dry noodle, and cook, uncovered, at a rolling boil.
  8. Toss the noodle
  9. When the noodle is al dente (still a little firm, not mushy), use tongs to mix it in the bowl with the seasoning. Reserve some of the noodle’s water.
  10. Move the noodles from the pot to the bowl quickly, as you want the noodles to be hot.
  11. Toss everything to combine, allowing the noodle to cool just enough.
  12. Add some water back to the noodle to keep it from drying out.
  13. Serve at once with the rest of the parmesan, mussel, shrimp, and chili flakes. If you want, sprinkle with a little fresh chopped parsley.
