Recipe of Mee Celup Kelantan using Vit’s Slim Noodle

  • 2 large onions (thinly sliced)
  • 5-6 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)

  • 1 inch galangal (sliced ​​or chopped)
  • 1 coriander root (washed clean)
  • 4 tablespoons of soup spices or 2 packets of bunjut adabi soup
  • 2 tablespoons of thick soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons of chicken stock
  • 1/2 chicken
  • 3 spices (cinnamon, star anise, cloves)
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • Salt and seasoning powder

Other Ingredients

  • 6 packs of Vit’s Slim Noodle
  • Soup leaves (chopped)
  • Fried onion
  • 1 handful of bean sprouts (blanched)
  • 2 limes (sliced)
  • Salted radish (blanched and cut)
  • Mustard or kale (blanched)

Method

  1. Heat the water:
  2. Put a large pot of water on to boil
  3. Cook the Vit’s Slim instant noodle:
  4. Once the water has reached a rolling boil, add the dry noodle, and cook, uncovered, at a rolling boil.
  5. In a pot, boil the chicken and add the cilantro.
  6. Heat a separate pan and sauté onion, garlic, ginger, galangal, soup spices or sup bunjut. Cook until wilted and fragrant.
  7. Then, put the stir-fry ingredients into the pot containing the boiled chicken. Add salt, sugar, and seasoning powder.
  8. After that, add oyster sauce and thick soy sauce. Simmer the sauce for a while and leave it.
  9. Meanwhile, prepare the chili pepper. Add red chilies, vinegar, salt, and sugar to a dry blender. Coarsely grind sambal pepper. Set aside for a moment.
  10. Next, prepare the pickled pepper by putting green pepper, vinegar, salt, sugar, and boiled water in an airtight container. Cover and leave for a while.
  11. After that, prepare the garlic oil by heating the pan and pouring the oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic. Stir until the garlic is slightly yellow. Put in a container and set aside.
