Ingredients

  • 2 cakes Vit’s Air-Dried Noodles (Mi Kasar)
  • 6 to 8 shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 2 slices cheese
  • Chopped spring onions
  • Chopped red chillies
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chilli flakes (optional, for serving)

Method

  • Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and chili powder, then let it marinate for about 10 minutes to allow the flavours to develop. Once ready, cook the shrimp in a pan until nicely done and set aside.
  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set them aside.
  • In the same pan, melt some butter and gently sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the full cream milk and let it simmer. Stir in the cheese slices until they melt into a creamy sauce. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
  • Add the cooked noodles, chopped spring onions, and chilies into the sauce. Mix well until the noodles are evenly coated, then top with the cooked shrimp.
  • Serve warm with a sprinkle of chili flakes for an extra spicy kick.
