Recipe of Cheesy Bolognese Samosa with Vit’s Italian Mi Goreng Bolognese

Golden, crispy samosa with a melty, cheesy heart! Each bite bursts with Vit’s Bolognese noodles, savoury minced meat, and a creamy, tangy sauce, offering a playful Italian-Malaysian twist that’s perfect for sharing, snacking, or simply treating yourself.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Vit’s Italian Mi Goreng Bolognese 
  • 6-8 popiah skins
  • 150g minced meat (beef or chicken)
  • 4 cloves of red onion
  • 3-4 slices of cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cheese sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs (parsley + chilli flakes)

Method

  1. Boil 400ml of water, cook the noodles with dehydrated tomato for 3 minutes, then drain.
  2. Stir-fry the sliced red onion for 2–3 minutes, add minced meat, and cook until browned.
  3. Add the seasoning powder and olive oil, then mix with the cooked noodles, Italian herbs, and some seasoning.
  4. Mix mayonnaise, chilli sauce, and cheese sauce in a small bowl to make the special sauce.
  5. Lay a popiah skin flat, layer with cheese, 2 tablespoons of the noodle mixture, and drizzle the sauce, then roll tightly.
  6. Deep-fry in 170–180°C oil for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Drain and serve warm.
  7. Optionally, garnish with extra sauce or chopped herbs before serving for added flavour and presentation.
