Recipe of Mi Bandung Ala Vit’s using Vit’s Ramen

Yellow noodles and eggs were the main ingredients in the original Mi Bandung dish, which also included a thick sauce made from a blend of chilies, sautéed onions with spices, shrimp paste, and dried shrimp. Ingredients like prawns, meat, fish cakes and vegetables are then added to improve it.

Ingredients

  • 150g Vit’s Ramen Noodle
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 shallot
  • Shrimp
  • Chicken
  • Ground Chili
  • 3 Tablespoon tomato sauce
  • Water
  • 1 egg
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Cooking Oil
  • Corn Flour

Method

  1. Heat the water:
  2. Put a large pot of water on to boil
  3. Cook the Fresh Ramen:
  4. Blanch the Fresh Ramen for 3 minutes to dissolve it
  5. On a different pan, Heat the oil then stir fry garlic, shallot until fragrant.
  6. Add the chicken and shrimp. Sauté again until cooked. Then add ground chili. Sauté again until fragrant. After the chili is dry, add water. Stir well.
  7. Next add tomato sauce and vegetables. Let the vegetables soften.
  8. Add the right amount of sugar, salt, and seasoning powder. Add Include corn flour mixture. Mix it together to get the thick texture for the sauce.
  9. Once the sauce has started to boil, crack the eggs, and turn off the heat. You are done.
